Ronald Jay Cohen, 81, passed away on December 20, 2024, in Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife, Eloise Cohen; his daughter, Lori Carter, and her children, Reed and Graham Carter, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his son, Daniel Wilde, and grandchildren Camden and Marlie Cohen. Ronald deeply valued the enduring relationship he shared with his former daughter-in-law, Minna Castillo, as well as Dennis Carbrey, Whitney Delohery and Heidi Attrell and their families. Ronald is predeceased by his parents, Natalie and Max Cohen and his sister, Denise Klimek
Ronald dedicated much of his life to the practice of law, where he earned a reputation for fairness, integrity, and sharp legal insight. His career culminated in his service as a judge, a role in which he upheld justice with wisdom and compassion. He took great pride in his work and the impact it had on his community.
Ron enjoyed the friendship of many people throughout his life, including friends from his early school years. He loved fishing and went on many trips with his friends. He also enjoyed having coffee with friends. His wit, honesty, and contemplative nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
