Dennis Jay Barron was born in Denver on May 2, 1954, and passed away on June 21, 2024. He is survived by his siblings Sharyl and Steven Barron, his uncle Stewart (Merna) Saliman, and many cousins.
Dennis went to technical college at DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia and was on their Honor Roll. He then worked for IBM for 32 years. After retirement worked again with computers.
He enjoyed skiing, playing golf, and going to sporting events. Had season tickets to the Colorado Rockies since 1993.
On 5-5-24, his family and friends attended his 70th birthday party for him. That party meant so much to him and to his family and we will always cherish the memories.
Dennis was devoted to our mother who passed away in 2018. For his siblings were blessed with the most amazing person and brother.
He would always say “super” when something went well. Carrot cake was his absolute favorite dessert and more recently trying all the spaghetti/meatball places in the city.
He was a Big Michael Brown fan. He has podcasts called The Situation and the Weekend with Michael Brown. He liked to listen to his politics.
His greatest joy was to spend time with his siblings as we considered ourselves as the ‘three musketeers’.
He fought gallantly through his cancer journey with dignity and grace.
He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, the National Kidney Foundation, or the Hebrew Education Alliance in his memory.
